Earlier this year, I received the call that every parent dreads, the police informed me that my son and his friend had been in an accident involving a utility pole. Fortunately neither of them were seriously injured but my son was charged with OUI. I contacted a family friend who is a lawyer in Rhode Island and he referred me to Robert H. Humphrey, Esq. This was a long and difficult process for our family, appearing several times before the Attleboro District Court, but based on Bob's arguments, the Judge agreed to dismiss the OUI charge. We really appreciate everything Bob did in researching the scene of the accident and the law regarding OUI cases. I highly recommend him because of his professionalism and dedication to his clients and their families.- Jim

I drive for a living and use a company car. Following my arrest by the State Police for DUI, I thought my career was over. Attorney Humphrey worked tirelessly on my case. Through his many years in practice, he knew the best way to handle my case. Immediately prior to trial because of Attorney Humphrey's knowledge of trial procedure and court rules and his experience with drunk driving cases, the DUI was dismissed by the Judge. His representation was outstanding and I could not be happier with the outcome.- Jason

I was involved in an early morning accident involving four mailboxes. After the police responded, I was charged with drunk driving with readings over the legal limit. Attorney Humphrey negotiated with the Prosecutor and convinced him that the breath test results could not come into evidence at trial because of things Attorney Humphrey discovered by reviewing the Police Department DVD. Attorney Humphrey did a great job for me. I did not sustain a criminal conviction, which was my main concern, because if I did I would lose my job. Robert Humphrey, Esq., did a great job for me!- Mike

Thank you for the wonderful way you handled my Westerly DUI case. I was very scared when I was charged with a DUI with readings over .15. However, I knew you were the right man for the job when you picked up the phone on a Sunday and put my mind at ease. Thank you so much for everything you did for me!- Keri

Thank you for taking my daughter’s case. When she was charged by the Richmond police with a DUI, I was concerned that she would lose her ability to travel and to take her dream job overseas. You expertly and efficiently resolved her case so she can move forwards with her life and career. Our family cannot thank you enough.- Kimberly

After a car accident in Bristol, I was charged with both drunk driving before the District Court and refusal to submit to a chemical test before the Traffic Tribunal. Attorney Humphrey very patiently talked about the facts of the case with me. Based on his legal arguments, he successfully resolved both charges in an efficient and cost effective manner. This was extremely important to me because I am an owner of a small business. I would definitely recommend him!- Linda

I was mortified when I was charged with drunk driving. I had never been in trouble with the law before so I contacted our family attorney. He referred me to Attorney Humphrey because of his extensive experience handling Rhode Island DUI cases. This was a very traumatic experience for me but Attorney Humphrey was up to the challenge. Whenever I felt overwhelmed, I would contact Attorney Humphrey and he would put my mind at ease. He was able to get the DUI charge dismissed and I couldn't be more thankful.- H

The Pawtucket Police charged me with a second DUI offense within 5 years with readings over .15 BAC. I know I was looking at a minimum mandatory 6 months in jail and a 2 year loss of license. I needed someone who could do the impossible - make the case go away because I couldn't serve jail time because of health issues and I would lose my job if I lost my license. Attorney Humphrey did just that, the impossible. Based on the legal issues he raised, the Prosecution folded on the day of trial and the charges were dismissed. I didn't even receive a traffic ticket. I would highly recommend Attorney Humphrey to anyone charged with a DUI.- George
