I was at a friend's house for a summertime barbeque when I fell on their multi-level deck. The fall resulted in multiple fractures to my elbow and thus began my long and arduous journey to recovery. I was transferred to Charlton Memorial Hospital for two days and then to Boston Medical Center for surgery involving a metal plate with clamps and screws. After ten days, I was transferred to a rehabilitation center for approximately three months. There I needed assistance with all my daily needs. Even after I was discharged, I had to live with family because of the extent of my injuries. When I contacted Attorney Humphrey he immediately visited me at the rehabilitation center and set my mind at ease. Despite the severity of my injuries, the insurance company was unwilling to make a reasonable settlement offer.
