Need an experienced Rhode Island DUI lawyer?
The laws are tough pertaining to a DUI in Rhode Island. Anyone who has been arrested for DUI and is now facing potential sentencing should waste no time in seeking legal representation that can defend their case.
Subsequent offenses are subject to severe penalties and should be taken very seriously. Law enforcement officers are quick to arrest on suspicion of drunk driving and the courts are eager to convict. Therefore, it is vitally important to your future rights and freedoms that you seek aggressive and competent legal defense. You do not want to run the risk of incurring penalties such as:
- Hefty fines
- Jail time
- License suspension/revocation
- Mandatory community service hours for being convicted of a drinking and driving offense
Nor do you want to walk into the courtroom feeling unprepared or inadequately defended. Police officials already believe you to be guilty which is why they arrested you in the first place, so it is crucial that you refrain from sharing any information with law enforcement officials until you have an attorney present. You want to avoid saying something that will incriminate you later on. With the help of a Rhode Island DUI attorney, you can rest assured that you are as prepared as possible against prosecution.
