Tiverton Teachers Attacked

On Tuesday, September 7, 2010, Joel Beaulieu was arraigned before the Second Division District Court for the fatal stabbing of his father, Conrad Beaulieu, and the felony assault of his mother, Dianne Beaulieu.  Mr. Beaulieu is alleged to have murdered his father and assaulted his mother with a knife at their residence in the Town of Tiverton.  The Tiverton Police were alerted to the domestic situation by several 911 emergency calls.  Both the victims were well known in the Town of Tiverton for their years of service as teachers in the Tiverton School system.
