Sex Offender Faces New Charges
As reported by Amanda Milkovits in the October 23, 2010 edition of the Providence Journal, a Massachusetts sex offender is facing new criminal charges. The man, who is a registered sex offender in Massachusetts, moved to Rhode Island. Last week, he was involved in an incident at a Providence bar.
During the incident, the man stabbed a Providence College student. He was identified through photographs and witness statements and eventually turned himself into Providence Police. The man is facing two (2) new charges stemming from this incident, felony assault and failure to register as a sex offender.
